St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) is at the forefront of a groundbreaking initiative – a residential workshop aimed at revamping the educational landscape for Mahatma Gandhi University's upcoming four-year undergraduate programs (FYUGP) in animation, graphic design, and multimedia. This collaborative effort, spearheaded by expert committees in these fields, kicked off successfully. Principal Fr. Joseph Parackal inaugurated the event, emphasizing its focus on innovation and academic discourse. Industry veterans like Linus LK, Thomas Joseph, Jean Sebastian, and Alwin Johnson graced the workshop as keynote speakers. Their valuable insights on evolving trends and the future of these creative disciplines captivated the audience. Led by Dr. Thomson K. Alex, the workshop aims to revolutionize the educational syllabus. Nearly 100 professors from various colleges participated in this five-day intensive program to craft a forward-thinking curriculum. The significance of this event transcends the college walls. It represents a critical step in MG University's plan to redefine educational patterns for their upcoming FYUGP programs. Bringing together academicians and industry experts, the workshop promises to shape the future of education in animation, graphic design, and multimedia.
