On October 19, 2024, St. Joseph College of Communication proudly hosted a unique field trip under the “Gifted Children Programme 2024-25” organized by the Department of Public Education, Kottayam Education District, Government of Kerala. Designed to inspire and engage young talent, the program brought 48 enthusiastic students to explore the creative and technical facilities at SJCC. The students toured the college’s advanced animation studio, stop-motion lab, editing suite, mixing studio, radio station, and television floor, experiencing firsthand the range of media production resources available. Faculty members guided them through each space, providing insights into the skills, techniques, and career opportunities in media and communication. To further enrich the visit, Binil C. Amakkadu led a one-hour session titled "The Sequential Stages of Film Making," offering the students a comprehensive look at the filmmaking process from concept to final production.
