A television production workshop was conducted at SJCC by Jenson Zacharia,a senior program producer on Saturday 27th July 2019 in the seminar Hall.The workshop mainly had an interactive session and experience sharing with the students. The program started at 10 a.m and came to an end by 4 p.m.The morning session was attended by video production and presentation aspirants and the afternoon session was attended by anchors of various programs of MVTV. Around 30 students participated in the workshop. The workshop was very informative for the students who wish to enter into the field of television production. It was an opportunity for the aspirants to know about the positive and negative aspects of this field. The students clarified all their doubts and also sought advice for their future plans. Jenson Zacharia is a commercial program producer who had worked for the channel MazhavilManorama. His famous programs include ‘OnnumOnnummoonu’,a celebrity chat show and ‘Kuttikalodaanokali’,a quiz program for both children and adults. Currently, he works as Assistant Director with Jijo Navodhaya, a renowned Malayalam film director.
