St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) hosted its grand Passing Out Ceremony on March 9th, 2024, at the college stadium. The event commenced at 10 am with a prayerful invocation by the college choir, setting a reverent tone. The ceremony unfolded with esteemed dignitaries gracing the occasion. Rev. Dr. Joseph Parackal, Principal of SJCC, welcomed the audience. Rev. Fr. Jophy Puthuparampu, Executive Director of Media Village Group of Institutions, delivered an introductory note, while the keynote address by Very Rev. Dr. James Palackal, Manager of SJCC, inspired the graduating class. His Grace Mar Joseph Perumthottam, Archbishop of Changanacherry Diocese and patron of SJCC, delivered a benedictory address. Dr. Jancy James, a distinguished academician, shared inspirational messages, urging the graduates to pursue their endeavors with integrity. A lamp-lighting ceremony symbolized the illumination of knowledge, with select students receiving the light as torchbearers of learning. The ceremony included an oath-taking ceremony administered by Rev. Dr. Mathew Muriankary, Academic Director, and a heartfelt Guruvandanam, a tribute to the faculty. Dr. Jancy James also graced the Baccalaureate ceremony. A memento was presented to the chief guest by Rev. Fr. Laiju Kanicheril, a Board of Directors member. Three graduating students shared their experiences at SJCC, reminiscing about their time at the college. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Alwin Johnson, the event coordinator, followed by the national anthem. Group photographs captured the celebratory spirit, and a delightful lunch gathering marked the end of a momentous chapter for the graduating class.
