Empowering Minds: AI Boot Camp at SJCC
On 11 January 2025, the Rotary Club of Paippad, in collaboration with the Rotaract of St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC), Media Village, Changanassery, organized an AI Boot Camp at the SJCC campus. This transformative event welcomed 100 students from the Kottayam revenue district, offering them an exclusive opportunity to explore the cutting-edge realm of Generative AI technology. The boot camp ran from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, providing participants with an immersive and enriching learning experience. Forty students from SJCC also attended the Camp. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries who acknowledged the importance of empowering young minds with technological insights. The highlight of the boot camp was the training session conducted by the exceptional Dr. Shenin P. Hassan. Her expertise and engaging approach inspired participants, offering valuable insights into the applications and implications of Generative AI. The students actively participated, showcasing their enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session, making the day a resounding success. Special appreciation was extended to Rtn PAG MPHF Kannan S. Prasad, whose meticulous planning and effective guidance played a pivotal role in organizing the program.
