North Kerala was the worst affected in the floods of August 2019. Radio Media Village along with its social welfare department, Charity World, sent flood relief materials for the people of Wayanad. The relief materials included food medicines and clothing. Generous contributions were received from various quarters of the society. Major contributors included the staff and students of SJCC. A 20 tonne truck went to Wayanad from Changanacherry carrying relief materials. Radio Media Village Station Director, Fr. Sebastian Punnassery, SJCC Assistant Bursar Mr. Abin and Media Village PRO Mr. Jinu Joseph accompanied the vehicle. Our contributions were significant and the people of Wayanad were thankful on receiving our relief aid.
