A Grand Opening for the Fourth SJCC International Film Festival

The fourth edition of the SJCC International Film Festival commenced on a vibrant note, bringing together cinema enthusiasts and film lovers for a celebration of diverse cinematic expressions. The festival was inaugurated by acclaimed filmmaker Chidambaram S. Pothuval, marking the beginning of a three-day celebration of cinema. The inaugural screening featured ‘Balan – The Boy’ as the opening film. The festival brings together the humanistic spirit and technological excellence of cinema, offering audiences an engaging platform to experience meaningful stories, creative perspectives, and diverse filmmaking approaches. The three-day film festival marks another significant initiative by St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) in promoting cinematic culture, creative expression, and appreciation of the art and craft of filmmaking.
