SJCC Featured in Deepika: A Highlight of Excellence

The Convocation 2026 of St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) was held with 245 students receiving their degrees. The graduates included 208 undergraduate students and 37 postgraduate students who successfully completed various courses. Nineteen rank holders who achieved outstanding academic performance at Mahatma Gandhi University were also honoured during the ceremony. Former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Dr. C. T. Aravindakumar, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and delivered the Graduation Day message to the graduates. He said that India is the only country that provides higher education at the lowest cost. He also led the Baccalaureate Ceremony and the ceremony honouring the rank holders. College Principal Rev. Dr. Mathew Murinkary delivered the welcome address. Media Village Executive Director Rev. Fr. Jofy Puthupparambil delivered the introductory address. College Manager Very Rev. Fr. Antony Eathakkad presided over the function. Academic Director Rev. Dr. Jojin Elanjickal led the oath-taking ceremony. The memento for the chief guest was presented by Bursar Fr. Lipin Thundukalam. Research Director Rev. Dr. Lincoln Kaduparayil, Vice Principal Thomas Joseph, Head of the Department of Media Studies Nissa Susan Mathew, Head of the Department of Animation & Design Saji Lukose, and Head of the Department of Commerce Rosie Joseph were present at the ceremony. As part of the convocation, a special programme titled ‘Moments of Memories’, featuring memories from the students’ campus life, was also held.
