St. Joseph College of Communication hosted a district-level awareness workshop on career opportunities in the AVGC–XR sector as part of the Vijnanakeralam Campus Skilling Programme in Changanassery. The workshop aimed to introduce students to emerging career pathways in Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality. The programme was inaugurated by noted film director Mr. Blessy Ipe Thomas, who highlighted the rapid growth of the creative–technology industry and the importance of practical skills. Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew Muriankary, Principal, welcomed the gathering, while Dr. P. V. Unnikrishnan, Member Secretary, K-DISC, presided over the session. Industry experts led specialised sessions, reinforcing SJCC’s commitment to industry-aligned media and design education and enhanced employability.
