The NSS Unit of St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) organized a Legal Awareness Class at Changanassery in observance of the 76th Indian Constitution Day. The session aimed to educate students on key aspects of the Indian Constitution, its historical significance, and fundamental laws that influence daily life. Insightful Session by Adv. Boban T. Theckel The awareness class was led by Adv. Boban T. Theckel, who delivered an engaging and informative talk on constitutional history, crime, writs, and motor vehicle laws. His session provided students with essential legal understanding and encouraged responsible citizenship. Inauguration & Participation The programme was inaugurated with a welcome address by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Mathew Muriankeri. More than 100 students actively participated, reflecting the strong interest and relevance of legal literacy among today’s youth. Programme Coordination The session was coordinated by Programme Officer Vishnu V. Nair along with NSS Secretaries Ajeesh Ashik, Lan Regimon, and Nikitha, ensuring smooth conduct of the event. The College Research Director, Rev. Fr. Dr. Lincoln K. George, honoured the resource person with a memento as a token of appreciation. This Legal Awareness Class served as a meaningful initiative to empower students with essential knowledge of the Constitution and the legal framework of the nation, reinforcing the values of justice, rights, and civic responsibility.
