The Department of Animation and Design at St. Joseph College of Communication (SJCC) organized an engaging acting workshop titled “Animate with Emotion — Discover the Actor Within!” on November 7, 2025, for the BA Animation and Graphic Design (2025–2029 batch) students. The session was led by Mr. Bilas Chandrahasan Nair, a renowned Actor, Actor Trainer, and Animation Acting & Voice Trainer, who provided students with valuable insights into the connection between performance and animation. Through interactive activities and expressive exercises, participants explored how emotion and body language enhance character animation and storytelling. The workshop offered a creative platform for students to understand the nuances of acting, emphasizing the importance of emotional authenticity in bringing animated characters to life.
