The Department of Animation and Design at St. Joseph College of Communication proudly celebrated International Animation Day with creativity, color, and innovation. The event also marked the official launch of Enliven 2026, the college’s flagship international animation festival. The celebration featured a range of vibrant competitions, including Cosplay, Face Painting, Art Exhibition, Fashion Show, and Character Design, which showcased the immense talent and artistic flair of the students. The day concluded with a special animation film screening at the college’s own theatre, MV Cinemas, adding a cinematic charm to the festivities. Rev. Dr. Mathew Muryankari, Principal of SJCC, delivered the inaugural address and officially launched Enliven 2026. Rev. Dr. Jojin Elanjickal, Academic Director, extended his felicitations, while Rev. Fr. Lipin Thundukulam, Bursar, presented awards to the winners of various competitions. The Art Exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Principal Mr. Thomas Joseph. The entire celebration was organized under the guidance of Mr. Saji Lukose, Head of the Department of Animation and Design, with the active support of faculty members Mr. George John, Mr. Jacob Umman, and Mr. Jio George. The event reflected SJCC’s commitment to nurturing creative excellence and innovation in the field of animation and design, inspiring students to explore the limitless possibilities of visual storytelling.
