A specialized workshop on Human Anatomy for Character Design was conducted for the BA Animation & Visual Effects students of the 2024 batch on 16 and 17 January 2025. The two-day session, held at St. Joseph College of Communication was led by the renowned artist and painter, Mr. V.S. Madhu. Known for his expertise in visual arts, Mr. Madhu brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the workshop, making it a transformative learning opportunity for the students. The workshop focused on the intricate relationship between human anatomy and character design, emphasizing the importance of understanding proportions, posture, and movement in creating lifelike and expressive characters. Through hands-on sessions and live demonstrations, students gained practical insights into the artistic process, enhancing their creative and technical skills. The workshop not only elevated their understanding of character design but also inspired them to approach their craft with greater precision and creativity.
