Radio Media Village has launched its 2.0 version with a new feature: visual radio, which offers both audio and visual experiences. This upgrade marks the twelfth year of the first community radio station in Kottayam district. Mar Joseph Perumthottam, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Changanassery, inaugurated the upgraded Radio Media Village studio. During the ceremony, the new theme song was released, dedicating Radio Media Village 2.0 to the public. To symbolize the launch, Mar Joseph Perumthottam handed over the CD which includes the Theme Music, to Municipality Chairperson Beena Jobi and Presidents of various Grama Panchayats. Fr. Jophy Puthuparampu, the Executive Director of Media Village, SJCC Principal Rev.Dr.JosephParackal, Academic Director Rev.Dr.Mathew Muriankary and MAC TV Director Fr. LaijuKanicheril also attended the event and shared their best wishes. Currently, the visual snippets of every live program are available through the social media handles of the radio. The listeners now have a greater participatory role in each program thereby making it more interactive.
