St. Joseph College of Communication celebrated the 75th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The program started with the performance of music club in the college. The welcome address of the day was presented by the Vice Principal, Mr. Thomas Joseph. The programme was chaired by Rev. Fr. Joseph Parackal, the Principal of the College. The event was graced with the presence of ex-servicemen Master Warrant Officer Joy Xavier, Subedar OV Antony, Naib Subedar Appachankutty, Sepoy PK Devasia, Sergeant Josekutty VJ, Sergeant Joy PA, and Chief Petty Officer, Cherian Raju. The inaugural speech was delivered by Air Veteran Master Warrant Officer Joy Xavier. He shared his experience of serving the country and motivated the students with his warm words. Mr. Alwin Johnson then delivered the vote of thanks for the occasion. The college dance club gave an outstanding performance to make the event colourful and finally, with due solemnity, the national anthem was sung.
