Congrats to Mathukutty, the National Film Award winner
It's a high pride moment for whole SJCC family that Mr. Mathukutty Xavier, alumnus of our college won the National Award for Best Debut Film Director for Helen, 2019. He was a student of BA Animation and Graphic Design course, 2011 - 2014 batch. Helen is a survival thriller and Mathukutty's first feature film as a director and writer. The movie won National award for best make up also. On a day before the announcement of National awards, Mathukutty received Mohan Raghavan Award for Best director for the film.
