Profile
Dr Jikku Jose is a PhD holder in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science & Technology. Her research area of interest is on the sustainable technologies development in bioenergy, and waste management sectors. She has interest in teaching, training and capacity program in environmental studies. She completed her doctoral degree in Biotechnology in 2013 from the Cochin University of Science & Technology, Cochin. She has published and presented her researches in international and national journals and conferences. She successfully organised several international scientific conferences and workshops.
Moreover, she is the author of a few academic book chapters. She had been the chairperson of scientific sessions and invited a speaker for various academic non-academic programmes. Some of her talks and interviews have been aired through FM during special occasions. On recognising her contributions in science and education, she received various awards from different organisations, including the Social entrepreneur award, recognition from the Chief Minister of Kerala State, India, and special honour on Women's day 2017. She was a panellist of the Women Science Congress during Indian Science Congress, 2020.
