Dr. Mathew Muriankary is a Catholic priest and has been serving as the Academic Director of St Joseph College of Communication and Associate Director of Media Village Television (MVTV) since 2023. He obtained his PhD in Social Communication from Salesian Pontifical University, Rome, in 2022, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, India. Fr. Mathew's research area includes New media Development, Digital Media Convergence, and Social Media, and he has a special interest in research on social media use among the youth in India. He has worked in Italy and Germany for 15 years and has participated in several international media conferences. He has visited 24 countries.
